Is there really a free tier?
Yes. Each account can run one free event after a quick approval by our team. Academic conferences need an institutional email address and get the core peer-review workflow (submissions and CFP, reviewer assignment, reviews, and decisions, with a public conference page) for up to 50 submissions and up to 50 free registrations. Corporate events need a company email address and get up to 50 free registrations. The free event is limited to one per account, organization, and email domain, and it has free tickets only. Your data is retained and secured, never deleted. AI-assisted reviewer matching, the research-integrity suite, scheduling, paid ticketing, and publisher delivery are on the paid plans.
Why is pricing event-based instead of purely monthly?
Conference costs are driven by event size and operational intensity: submissions, reviewers, attendee volume, emails, file storage, AI-assisted matching, check-in activity, and support demand near event dates. Event-based packaging keeps pricing clear and protects service quality.
Which plan should an academic conference choose?
Most academic and professional conferences should start with Academic Conference. It includes submissions, review operations, AI-assisted reviewer matching with human approval, scheduling, registration, QR check-in, live event tools, and reporting.
Are paid registrations included?
Yes. Attendees always see and pay one all-in ticket price (plus VAT where it applies), with nothing added at checkout. Academic conferences pay 5.5% of each paid registration, and card processing is included: we absorb the card fee, so it is not deducted from your payout (VAT on our fee applies where relevant). Corporate events pay 2.5% plus a fixed per-ticket fee of at least the equivalent of 1 USD (USD 1, EUR 1, GBP 1, AED 4, SAR 4, INR 90 and so on, by ticket currency), plus payment processing at cost (the actual card fee for each payment), all deducted from your payout. Corporate events can choose to show a booking fee, which is included in the all-in price from the first time it is shown. Free tickets have no fees. Per-submission fees and publisher delivery fees ($0.90 per accepted paper for IEEE, Springer Nature or Elsevier delivery, $90 minimum per publisher) are also deducted from your payouts, and we invoice only what payouts do not cover. Payout statements itemise the gross, the platform fee, the card fee where it is passed through, and your net for every order. A pricing helper on the ticket form shows your estimated payout per ticket.
Who issues refunds?
Refunds are issued by the conference organizer. Attendees can request a refund from their order, and the organizer reviews and approves it. Platform fees follow the conference refund policy.
Can universities or associations buy an annual plan?
Yes. The Organization plan is designed for departments, associations, research groups, companies, and recurring programs. Enterprise packages are available for large volumes, procurement review, custom retention, integrations, and event-day support.
